  • Layers and layers of ribbon lace flowers blooming proudly on the pure white train of a wedding kimono.
Guests will be charmed by every movement of a bride in this kimono crafted with YUMI KATSURA dressmaking technique and a train 40 cm longer than usual.
  • The only wedding kimono of its kind—especially for you. An endlessly romantic wedding kimono with Shantou embroidery layered with silver and gold thread and a Yumi train. The hem of the kimono spreads out unbelievably lightly and beautifully, and countless Shantou embroidery roses bloom proudly.
  • An excellent harmony is achieved in the embroidery covering the kimono, delicate weeping cherry and the fullness of peonies, for this substantial, pure white kimono.
  • This wedding kimono changes expressions when natural light goes dark. This is the first YUMI KATSURA kimono to be phosphorescent and UV processed.
The colorful flowers in this Yamato-e style are just right for celebrating a couple’s new life. In the dark, it stands out in a dreamlike way. This trained kimono is full of originality, and can create a surprise effect when the bride makes her entrance.
  • Classic Heian style
A beautiful wedding kimono with gradations of light to dark green. The 2-meter length is used to add depth to the pattern. The green material rimmed by orange lining attractively shows off a sedate, adult woman to best effect.
  • Karaori brocade with a traditional phoenix motif.
Karaori brocade originally came from China, one of many different weaving techniques. After it arrived in Japan, weavers here added their own changes until it became the pinnacle weave of the Nishijin school. The sheer volume and dignity is something best expressed using the traditional Kyoto technique.
  • Like a beautiful curtain, colors flow from white to pink, then red. The gradations move with the flow of plum blossoms. The flow of blue water adds grace and definition. The four seasons of Kyoto are expressed in the vivid colors. This kimono is a work of art, created through the dedication and skill of Nishijin brocade weavers.
  • An elegant wedding kimono woven in the Karaori style, the best of Kyoto’s Nishijin brocades. The refined tone and youthful impression made by the color orange create an effect that is both grown-up and adorable.
  • Cut work stands out beautifully on organdy with a dark blue halo. Images are of a dress with a clean white floral motif. This wedding kimono with a lightweight Yumi-line draws a puff of air with every move the bride makes, for a unique and sophisticated effect.
  • The hall will be filled with surprise when guests see the brilliance of hand-painted Yuzen and sequins.
Black and red hand-painted peonies create a fascinating and beautifully trained wedding kimono. The main feature of this garment is the sequins covering it. The light reflected in the transparent spangles can be seen from a distance, making this kimono one of our most talked about.
  • This combination of two kimono—furisode and wedding—is a brand-new idea and an original of YUMI KATSURA. The purple color of the furisode and delightfully “pop” flowers adorning the wedding kimono create a fresh modern appeal, for a distinctive up-to-date kimono look.
  • Sedate with its gold threaded karaori weave and orange and gray fan design woven in, this is a sophisticated wedding kimono.
